IMPORTANT: Team Check-In Procedures For Big South
REGULAR CHECK-IN
Team check-in will be on Thursday, March 24 from 4 pm to 9 pm in the Georgia World Congress Center at 285 Andrew Yound International Blvd NW. Go to Hall B, which is stright ahead next to the terraces Restaurant. You will be on Level 4. Proceed down Hall B and take the escalators to Level 2. Look for the Registration / Team Check-in booths in the B2 Lobby.
LATE CHECK IN
We will have late check-in at the Winners Circle located between courts 45 & 46 (Look for the Court Aisle banners for direction -- right in the center of Hall B), beginning Friday, March 25 at 7:15 am (but not before) until 12 noon. Even if you play in the afternoon wave, you need to check-in before 12 noon. (NOTE: Late check-in is VERY HECTIC. Do yourselves a favor and have someone check your team in on Thursday. As long as you don't need to make roster changes, anyone you trust can check your team in.)

EXPRESS CHECK-IN LINES -
IF YOU HAVE ALL YOUR MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS, ALL YOUR USAV NUMBERS AND YOUR ROSTER IS CORRECT
You can pre-print your check-in roster, fill out the Verification information at the bottom of the page and bring it to us. This will greatly reduce the time it takes to check-in. Here are the instructions:
- Log onto Signuptoplay.com.
- Select "Enter Event" from the left menu.
- Click on ASICS Tampa Bay’s Big South then click on your team. You will see your roster. Make sure that all the information is correct, especially that all players are on the roster, and that ALL PLAYERS and STAFF have USAV NUMBERS. We notice that many of the teams accepted into Big South do not have USAV numbers for players listed for the team. PLEASE CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR PLAYERS put into the Sign Up To Play program AND ON THE TEAM(S) COMING TO BIG SOUTH! Also, please make sure your seniors are correctly marked "Signed" or "Unsigned." This is especially important for college coaches.
- If information is incorrect or missing, you must go into your Master Roster, correct the information and REBUILD your roster for Big South.
- When you have corrected or added all the roster information, click on the white button at the top of the page that says "Check-in-Form". A new window will pop up.
- On the menu on the top of this new page, select File, then Print. (BE SURE you have set the margins in the Page Setup for .25 all the way around, or some information may not print.) Be sure that all players and staff have USAV numbers listed. No USAV numbers means NO PLAY.
- Fill in the hotel and travel information requested at the bottom of the page.
- Sign the form.
- Bring this form with you or give it to the person who is checking the team in.
- You or the person doing the check-in can proceed the EXPRESS LINE at check-in, where you will receive a pass for practice and for the team packet with the program and the schedule in it.
REGULAR CHECK-IN LINES
If you do not have USAV numbers for every person on the roster - players and staff - or IF you need to make changes to your roster, you must go to the regular check-in line. Be prepared to show documentation (USAV card and signed Medical Release Form) for any player being added to a roster and proof of background check for any adult being added.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE USAV NUMBERS
If you do not have USAV numbers for every person on the roster - every player and every staff person - you must have a letter signed by your Regional Commissioner affirming that the person is registered in the region but that the Region hasn't been able to issue the numbers yet. Nothing else will be accepted as proof of registration - no phone calls, no emails, no faxes, no letters signed by a person other than the Regional Commissioner. YOU MUST GO THROUGH THE REGULAR CHECK-IN LINE WITH THIS KIND OF DOCUMENTATION.
Please NOTE: There could be severe penalties for submitting incomplete or incorrect information. All players participating must be on the roster. For teams that win a bid, the complete roster is frozen, regardless of whether a listed player actually played in the tournament. See the Qualifier Manual for complete details of the frozen roster rule.
