MARTA Transportation & Tournament Special:

Atlanta’s modern, clean, state of the art train and bus system is a convenient and inexpensive way to travel around the city. Lines connect to most all of your desired destinations; Hartsfield/Jackson International Airport, Georgia World Congress Center, hotels, restaurants and shopping.
Passes are good from Thursday, March 24 through Sunday, March 27, 2005. Each pass is $10.00 and good for unlimited rides during those dates.
Checking in On-Site:
All check ins will be done at the Georgia World Congress Center at the University Athlete desk. Check back for location of the desk in January.
University Athlete’s Recruiting Software (handheld):
Once again University Athlete will be providing the best, state-of-the-art program for recruiting. Through this software you will have complete tournament information including schedules, team and player information and updates. It allows you to flag players for evaluation, identify new prospects, rany and evaluate each athlete with individual notes, find their individual tournament schedules and even create a schedule for yourself to see all of your marked prospects during the event -- all with a simply click of the button.
This year, UA will be handling all event registration directly through their website at www.UniversityAthlete.com . Please vsist their website after the Christmas Holidays for further information and details on event registration.
Once you have registered, you will be able to download your software even before the event begins. This could be a huge time saver and maximize your recruiting opportunities on the first day at the event.
Updates at the event will done on almost an hourly basis. and now, you can update whether you are at the event or at your hotel room! UPdates can be obtained from the UA desk at the event or downloaded from UA’s website.
Paper Copies of the Recruiting Information:
Limited paper copies of the schedule and recruiting information will be available -- you MUST register with University Athlete in order to receive a paper package due to a limited print run. The paper package will not include any printed updates for the schedule or corrected recruiting information.
Playing Facility:
All play will be held in Halls B1-B5 at the Georgia World Congress Center
College Admissions Expo:
If you are planning to attend the 2005 ASICS/Tampa Bay Big South Qualifier from March 25-27 in Atlanta, please note that there will be a College Admissions Expo held on Saturday, March 26 during the event. The College Admissions Expo will give prospective students participating in the ASICS/Tampa Bay Big South Qualifier an opportunity to gather valuable admissions information, including applications and campus visit brochures, from your school. Response from admissions offices has been positive, and space is limited. So please forward this information to your admissions office representative and encourage them to participate in this opportunity. Interested schools can download the application by visiting online at www.CreativeSportsStrategies.com and clicking on "Exhibitor Services".
Age Divisions & Schedule:
Competition will begin on Friday, March 25, 2005. A wave play format will be used with the morning wave beginning at 8:00 AM and the afternoon wave beginning at 2:00 PM. Estimated start times are listed below. These times are subject to change based on scheduling needs. Confirmed start times will be posted on this web site once available. All play should be concluded on Sunday at 4:00 PM.
