What is club volleyball?
Club volleyball is a highly organized, nationwide competitive volleyball network designed for athletes to refine their volleyball skills, compete at the regional and national level, expose their abilities to collegiate recruiters and train to achieve any development goals they may have for the sport of volleyball.

Tampa Bay Juniors Volleyball Club is a nationally prominent, competitive program dedicated to advancing the personal and athletic development of youth through the pursuit of excellence in volleyball, fostering a sense of community throughout the club and promoting leadership in all club members.
What makes Tampa Bay Juniors different from other clubs?
Tampa Bay Juniors was the first club volleyball program in the state -- 2005 will mark the 21st season for TBJVC. Tampa Bay has been under the same management, producing a consistent level of high quality teams, staffing the most experienced coaches who are considered among the best in the region, maintained a nationally recognized Director of Coaches to create continuity throughout the club and has been the backbone of the regions junior club development by providing leadership at the regional and national level of volleyball

Can the multi-sport athlete play in Tampa Bay Juniors?
Yes, a large number of TBJVC members participate in more than one sport, especially in the younger age divisions.
What is the roster size and number of teams in Tampa Bay Juniors?
Roster sizes vary usually consisting of between 9 and 12 athletes. TBJVC carries around 12 teams a year in age divisions from 12 and under through 18 and under.
Who coaches at Tampa Bay Juniors?
The coaching staff at TBJVC is the best in the region. All of our coaches have previous coaching experience and have received certification from the Florida Region and/or USA Volleyball. Many of our coaches are from state high school championship teams such as Berkeley Prep, Tampa Prep, and Plant. We also have coaches participating from tremendous collegiate programs such as the University of Tampa and the University of South Florida’s volleyball programs. Coaches are assigned to only one team with most teams having an assistant coach as well. Randy Dagostino, the Director of Coaches, is nationally recognized as one of the best volleyball coaches in the country.
When does club volleyball take place?
Practices and competitions for all teams begin in January and go through May. Teams that qualify for the USA Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships will continue through late June/early July.
Where do teams practice?
Tampa Bay uses Berkeley prep, Tampa Prep and the University of Tampa for practice sights.
How often do teams practice?
Travel teams practice 3 times a week for a total of 7 hours and non-travel teams practice 2-3 times a week for a total of 4-6 hours depending on the age group.
Does Tampa Bay only field competitive club teams?
No, Tampa Bay Juniors recognizes that in the younger age divisions (10-14) there is a need for more casual, league based teams. League teams are organized based on demand. Contact the office if you are interested. They practice only once a week and participate in tournaments as their schedule allows.

What does it cost to play?
The annual fees for participation on a non travel team are between $1,200.00 and $1,900.00 depending on the age division of the team. That fees includes training and gym time, travel and participation to all instate events and one out of state event. Travel teams pay between $1,900.00 and $2,750.00 depending and the age division and includes the same. Travel teams may incur additional fees for other out of state events.
How do you pay for club?
Tampa Bay Juniors will work with every family to try and make payment of fees manageable. Payment plans have been devised to assist your budget. There are also some fundraising opportunities.
